Daylan West
I didn't have it figured out at 18. Or 20. I dropped out of community college twice and spent years unsure where I was headed.
In 2019 I started writing every day. I read, I reflected, and I wrote down one thing I'd do next. Small steps, repeated. That habit changed how I saw myself, and it helped me build a business from the ground up.
I created the Day2Day journal so others could have the same tool. Today I'm a speaker and entrepreneur. Day2Day brings talks and workshops to schools, colleges, youth programs, nonprofits, and workplaces, and I facilitate men's circles in my community. I also facilitate social-emotional learning programs with Soul Shoppe.
In a Day2Day talk, no one sits through a speech. They write, they talk honestly, and they leave with one action they chose for themselves.
I've worked with Youth Alive, Dewey Academy, FLY, Black Cultural Zone, and 3rd Street Youth Center.
